Carl Robinson was born a slave in New Orleans in 1824. His master's daughter got pregnant by a slave and Carl was blamed. Carl was shot dead, but awoke and ran away. He was eventually caught by slave hunters and sold to Matthew McCormick, a fellow immortal and the son-in-law of Carl's master. Matthew kept Carl hidden and taught him the rules of the game. Carl killed his master in revenge and spent his life running, then eventually starting a life as a professional baseball player.

Carl Robinson -- Blade of Freedom

The Falchion is a one-handed, single-edged sword of European origin, whose design is reminiscent of the Persian Scimitar and the Chinese Dao. The weapon combined the weight and power of an axe with the versatility of a sword. Falchions are found in different forms from around the 11th century up to and including the 16th century. Since the 13th century there have been two basic designs, the Cleaver Falchion, also known as the Conyers Falchion, and the Cusped Falchion which is more of a straight blade with a cusped tip.
