Methos heard of his friend Duncan receiving a Dark Quickening, and so he tracked him down using his connections as Watcher Adam Pierson. As Adam, Methos has to be careful not to draw too much attention, because he isn't officially assigned to Duncan.

Duncan was forced to take the head of his long time friend James Coltec, who had become possessed by a Dark Quickening. Duncan himself then became possessed by the powerful personalities of the evil immortals contained within him. Duncan turned on his friends and allies, leaving Seacouver for France and solitude. Duncan is unpredictable and psychotic, having been overcome by his personal demons.

Play in conjunction with the Dark Duncan Persona. You begin the game with +1 Ability. Your Illusions cannot be countered or removed from the game by your opponent.

Dark Duncan's Katana

When Duncan became overwhelmed by a Dark Quickening, his fighting style also changed. Although he kept the same sword, his use of it was drastically different. Duncan became more flamboyant and methodical in his style, while disregarding his opponent's style.

UPSIDE: Your first attack this turn may be to areas you just defended regardless of restrictions on the defense played.

DOWNSIDE: You cannot take control of your opponent's cards.
