Amergan was a Druid in life, who haunted Stonehenge after his death. When Colin MacLeod woke up in the middle of Stonehenge, Amergan took it upon himself to explain to the new immortal what he now was and what that meant. But Colin would not listen, so Amergan haunted Colin instead, acting as his advisor and conscience. It is unknown how Amergan knew of Immortals and the Game, but the bigger mystery is why he chose to help Colin.
You may substitute up to two of your Persona Specific attacks that are unreserved and have no printed restriction number in place of your required Basic Attacks. You may have up to three copies of this card in your Pregame, these copies together count as one card towards your Pregame limit.

The Chinese have used the fan since the 4th century. The folding "iron fan" was originally created by the Japanese in the 6th century, which used bamboo and iron, and began the usage of the fan as a weapon. Both cultures developed different martial art styles using this weapon alone, in pairs, and also with other weapons such as the Dao and Katana.
UPSIDE: Your Martial Arts Special Attacks do an additional point of damage. You may play two Black Phoenix Fans as your only Weapons of Choice. If you do, your Black Phoenix Fan specific attacks cannot be defended by a Martial Arts defense.
DOWNSIDE: You may not play full grid dodges from or "as if from" an Exertion.

I had been observing the two immortals Devon Thran and Michael Horn for the past few months. Like the Flock, they had tag teamed against immortals with much success. Until today. They tracked down an immortal I had never heard of by the name of Hedswil Roll. We will have to research him because I have never heard of an immortal using a pair of Kama as his weapons. By his skill and speed, he is obviously an older, seasoned immortal. Watching how quickly he killed Devon, then Michael before he received Devon's Quickening was beyond comprehension, his name said it all today. -- Adam Kershaw

This version of a Scimitar was created and used mostly during the eighteenth century. Usually brandished by soldiers, it was especially favored by sailors along the west coast of Africa. Although early designs were similar to a Scimitar or Saif, it eventually became uniquely known for the specialized hilt design. The Nimcha was mainly used in Morocco, but also in most West Africa countries including Algeria and Ghana.

The Single-Handed Broadsword is a term used in more modern times to describe certain swords of the medieval period. The Knightly Sword, or Arming Sword, fell out of favor around the 15th Century as larger swords came in to fashion. The sword evolved into the Spada da lato (side sword), to be used as a backup weapon. These weapons later influenced the modern Rapier and the Epee.
UPSIDE: If your opponent used a Retrieve effect last turn, you may Remove the top card of your opponents Discard Pile from the Game, regardless of effect.
DOWNSIDE: You take three damage when blocking a Power Blow and one damage when making a Power Block.
