Kiem Sun was born in 1276 during the Sung Dynasty. He died in battle fighting against Kublai Khan's mongol horde. He was found by May-Ling Shen and taught about his immortality, though he was not regarded as a good student. Kiem Sun seeks a way to make better warriors, based off his experience battling the Mongols. He began experimenting with the Quania Root, and lives on Holy Ground so he will not be disturbed by The Game as he searches for his own version of the Prize.

Victor Hansen's Kris

This Kris, also known as the Keris Blade, is said to have been around since the seventh century. It is rumored that the wavy bladed weapons contained supernatural powers to protect its wielder and grant good fortune. This blade design; while mainly known in the Malaysian, Indonesian, and Filipino cultures, has also been incorporated into just about every other blade design as a variant. The Thai Chi Sword, or Taijijian, originated in China around the 7th Century BCE. Victor was burn in 1542, and was one of three adopted sons to a wealthy family. Living the luxurious life became boring to Victor and he began his life of burglaries and becoming a master of disguise. Unfortunately, it caught up with him in 1580, when he was executed for robbing a church. Kanwulf the Viking found him, taught him of his immortality, and became his first teacher. Since then Victor has maintained an untraceable life as a great thief.
